I have a 90 NA coupe. So about a week ago I was finishing up putting Shell 93 octane in my Z. I pulled out of the gas station after filling up and not even 30 feet later the engine started to shake real bad and the rpm's started to drop, causing me to pull over on a side street. The rpm's continued to drop until it stalled on me. I waited a few minutes before starting it again, but the same thing. I called a buddy of mine, Ben (KingZcreations), and he said it sounded like a clogged fuel filter. Luckily there was a auto store a block away. I changed it out and my idling problem was fixed, but the motor sounded like someone was beating it with a hammer. Loud clicking noises were very audible. I think I have a bent rod. I now have to tear the engine apart, but I don't want to fix the NA motor. I think now I can get the TT swap like I always wanted. It is super clean so I don't want to buy a TT. I still can't believe it. The moter had only 96000. Now I have to lease a civic until I can come up with the money. Thought I would let off some steam.
